Text and key shortcuts for an additional menu are stored after the regular ones, in CODE 1 at 0020A5. Unlike the end-user menus, this one is in all caps.

INVERSE probably flipped between day and night, while BEAM must refer to your city's energy shield.

The game's enemies appear terrestrial in origin, but the instructions do refer to them once as 'enemy aliens'.

Cheshire Cat

MacCommand doesn't wear a Finder icon, but there is one in the resource fork... and of all things, it's the Cheshire Cat from Through the Looking Glass.

The only thing keeping the cat invisible is that it's assigned to applications with creator code !eTD, while the MacCommand app has a creator of MACS (which is supposed to be reserved for the OS, but that's another matter.)
